Overview

Reed Supply Chain is partnered with a manufacturing, company based near Pontypool, who are looking for an MRP Controller to join their business.

This environmentally friendly manufacturing business not only leads the way in-terms of their products but alsotheir efforts towards sustainability and continuous improvement.

This role will offer the opportunity to learn in a well supported and encouraged team.

In this role you will be responsible for all material requirements, planning and material availability, to ensure that the materials required to manufacture finished products are available on time.

Core Responsibilities:

Ensuring work is prepared and planned to coordinate with other departments' expectations.
Create daily and weekly plans in coordination with the Maintenance supervisors.
Prepare for each job: materials, tools and procedures before planned date.
Ensure SAP is kept upto date for planned maintenance adherence.
Define and maintain maintenance KPIs and ensure communication is up to date.
Assign work requests needing planning and materials to planning backlog.
Works closely with the maintenance technicians on the continuous improvement of the maintenance plan proposing changes to preventive maintenance.

Desirable Criteria:

Have a leadership and communication style which is approachable and motivating, being engaging to individuals.
Demonstrable a passion for Continuous Improvement and the ability to example cultural change within a Maintenance team.
Experienced and indepth knowledge of SAP or any CMMS system.
