- Provide support to the Shop Floor in troubleshooting, including PCBA fault finding, and disposition of Non-Conformance Reports.
- Collaborate with the Shop Floor to reduce the Standard Cost and Lead Time of products.
- Assist in Supplier improvement activities to enhance product quality and reliability.
- Develop manufacturing processes for New Product Introduction (NPI) and production tools.
- Utilize statistical analysis to identify trends and establish cause-and-effect relationships.
- Proficiency in creating and updating Manufacturing Documentation, including Assembly and Test Instructions.
- Ability to design necessary fixtures, tooling, and test boxes to optimize manufacturing processes.
- Apply LEAN manufacturing techniques to eliminate or reduce waste.
- Justify and implement new equipment to improve efficiency and productivity.
- A Degree in Engineering is preferred. However, a minimum of an HNC in an electronics discipline is required.
- Minimum years' experience in a Manufacturing or Production Engineering role, including providing Shop Floor support.
- Strong analytical skills to identify root causes and provide efficient solutions, including fault finding down to component level.
- Experience with Design of Experiments (DOE) testing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Flexibility to complete tasks within required deadlines.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate effectively with different teams.
- Familiarity with IPC Class III inspection standards is desirable.
- Bring new ideas and positive support to the current process.
- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in dynamic manufacturing environments.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
