CNC MILLER - PROGRAMMER / SETTER / OPERATOR - HURCO CONTROLSHALIFAX AREAAlecto is recruiting on a great opportunity for our client who are a UK leading Precision Engineering specialist.

Manufacturing components for a variation of sectors including Aerospace, Defence and Oil & Gas.
Currently looking for an experienced and skilled CNC Miller with Programming abilities using HURCO and /or UltiMAX controls.


SALARY:
£ £17.00 per hourDAYS ROLE - Monday to Thursday 07:00AM to 16:30pm / Friday 07:00AM to 12:30PM39 hours per week / overtime available25 days holiday (plus statutory)


REQUIREMENTS:

We ideally want someone who has 5 years programming experience but are open to taking someone on who have 1-2 years' experience but is willing to learn.

We are seeking an experienced and skilled CNC Machinist with CNC Milling abilities.

Be a proficient programmer using HURCO and / or Ultimax ControlsExperience in cylindrical grinding and any previous CNC Turning on XYZ machines would be desirable.

Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail


THE ROLE:
Setting/Operating/Programming abilities as a CNC Miller.
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
Inspecting finished components to ensure they meet the quality standards.
Maintaining the machines, including routine lubrication, and cleaningKeeping a clean and safe working environment.
