Position: Electrical Instrument & Control Engineer

Location: Surrey

Job Type: Permanent (Hybrid Working)

Experience: We are open to Graduate and Senior Level Professionals.

Salary depending on experience: up to £62,000 per annum

Company:

Omega have partnered with a leading Industrial Manufacturer within the GAS industry. They specialise in Design, test, production and installation of industrial gas systems.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Designing and crafting electrical and PLC control systems.
• Selecting specific electrical/control equipment for projects.
• Engaging in risk assessments and leading site tests.
• Overseeing approval & procurement of processes.
• Conducting tests and managing the final plant start-up.
• Sorting site surveys, processes and audits.
• Travel to customer sites (Very rare this will happen)

Experience or Qualifications:

• Experience within a similar role.
• Strong background working with design and management of electrical & Instrumentation systems.
• Worked with HAZOP/LOPA and risk assessments.
• Understanding of procurement and installation processes.
