Affiliate Executive
Team Overview:
This unique role sits across both the Hearts & Science and MG OMD affiliate teams, working closely alongside the other channel disciplines. The primary function is to manage campaign setup, reporting and finance within the affiliate and lead generation channel.
Role Overview:
As Affiliate Exec you will work alongside your AM as a key day-to-day contact responsible for managing activity for our clients and evolving a strategy that will help deliver their business objectives. You will have a keen sense of commercial awareness to inform performance optimisations and an inquisitive nature to constantly evolve your own knowledge of partners and technologies to support and drive best in class affiliate programmes. You will build strong relationships with clients, affiliate partners and agency colleagues to ensure the smooth running of our affiliate accounts across a variety of clients.
You will be responsible for:
Day-to-day affiliate account management, picking up key processes and building relationships with affiliate partners and clients
Contributing to key deliverables such as weekly reporting (including analytical commentary and recommendations), post-campaign analysis, competitor monitoring and auditing
Establish a comprehensive working knowledge of key affiliate and internal agency processes and demonstrate a proactive, hands on approach to BAU execution and problem solving
Work with your AM to maintain an accurate and timely finance process, ensuring all media is billed correctly (adhering to set deadlines) and fees are reflective of client contracts
Assist your team to coordinate, execute and evaluate campaign strategies for the channel, ensuring client's affiliate performance if effective & their KPIs and business objectives are delivered
Actively learn about, source and recommend new ideas / strategies / tactics and implement them for the client's benefit
Develop an understanding of key industry and agency tools, systems and analytics and use them to the benefit of our clients
Build and maintain relationships with other agency teams, driving integrated work and delivering insights outside of the performance team
Skills
Keen interest to develop skills across affiliates and aggregators marketing
Excellent organisation/ability to prioritise & strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently whilst feeding into a wider team
Strong communication and relationship management skills
Proficient user of MS Office tools
Strong numerical skills that can be applied to data analysis
Previous experience in the affiliate channel is preferred
