Butler Rose Public Practice are delighted to be supporting this well-established firm of chartered accountants based in Hitchin that are eager to appoint an ambitious Semi-Senior Accountant on a straight permanent basis to complement the existing team.

The firm have an enviable portfolio of clients across a diverse range of industries and of varying sizes.
Role Requirements

Draft preparation of financial statements in accordance with FRS1021A, FRS105 and where applicable UK GAAP.

Computations for corporation tax returns and submission of CT600 forms to the HMRC
Preparation of monthly management accounts for clients
VAT Returns preparation and review.
Bookkeeping for clients as required
Liaising with clients and developing strong working relationships.
Person Requirements

AAT Qualified or studying towards the ACCA or ACA qualification with 2+ years' experience in a similar Semi-Senior/Trainee Accountant role within practice.

Proficient in the use of accounting software such as IRIS, CCH, XERO, Sage 50, Quickbooks
