    Description

    Jonothan Bosworth Recruitment Specialists are currently working with a growing and talented, award-winning software provider based in the heart of Birmingham.

    As Senior Software Developer | Software Engineer, you'll join a talented team of like-minded individuals working with the latest cutting-edge technology with exposure to large-scale cloud-hosted applications.

    As Software Developer | Engineer you will have strong experience in C++ (or similar) be familiar with distributed system and have keen mathematical skills.

    You'll develop skills in multiple and challenging technical areas and will be expected to work across several disciplines to include software/database design, C++ algorithm development, continuous integration/delivery and PHP scripting .

    You will work as part of a team on a large-scale application that supports services in use by major global media companies along with being responsible for the full development lifecycle , from design prototype through to development, testing and deployment.

    As Software Engineer | Software Developer , you'll have strong programming skills, knowledge of data structures and algorithms as well as object-oriented development and design patterns along with experience with UNIX/LINUX systems including scripting skills
    Strong commercial software development skills, excellent mathematical and communication skills
    Experience with automated testing best practices, and Continuous Integration/Delivery.
    Familiarity with software configuration management (SCM) concepts and version control systems, especially Git.

    You'll also be working closely with other team members in an agile environment , sharing knowledge and delivering to rapid timescales in a dynamic environment.
