    As we continue to evolve, the appointment of a highly skilled and motivated Senior Sales Executive is pivotal to our ongoing success and growth.

    We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven professional to join us as a Senior Sales Executive. In this key new role, you will be responsible for delivering against targets, developing a robust sales pipeline, and closing deals. With no line management responsibilities, you will have the freedom and autonomy to solely focus on delivering exceptional sales performance.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead the end-to-end sales process, from initial contact to successful closure.
    • Generate qualified sales opportunities through highly targeted prospecting efforts.
    • Utilise multiple channels to expand Bright Instruments' outreach and increase our market presence, leveraging existing relationships while building new ones through telephone calls and online interactions.
    • Actively identify and engage with customers and prospects, understanding their unique needs and tailoring your responses in the moment to provide the most relevant information aligned with their requirements.
    • Fill the service team's diary with online, in-person (at our headquarters), and offsite demonstrations of our products.
    • Organise longer trials of Bright Instruments products for prospective clients at their locations.
    • Cultivate strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders, including researchers and medical professionals, positioning yourself as the trusted "go-to" person for microtome and cryostat sales.
    • Build and maintain an active pipeline of opportunities, consistently striving for growth.
    • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.
    • Process quotes, sales orders, and track shipments to ensure timely delivery.
    • Analyse the effectiveness of your actions and collaborate with internal stakeholders to continuously improve our tools and processes.

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience in sales, cold calls, pipeline development, customer relations, and high-level administration (minimum of 5 years).
    • Comfortable learning about medical equipment and articulating their uses and functionalities.
    • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Robust networking skills and the ability to cultivate relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Exceptional multitasking abilities with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Proficiency in data collection, record-keeping, and GDPR compliance.
    • Resilient and self-motivated with a target-driven mindset, capable of working autonomously.

    Applicants with deep and extensive sales experience in the medical sector will have a distinct advantage.

    Base salary of £30 - 40k, with an uncapped and high-value OTE structure.

    This full-time position is based at our Cambridgeshire office, with the flexibility to work from home on Fridays.
