For over 20 years, we have specialized in the sale, acquisition, and rental of prime and super-prime London properties and home county estates. With a focus on the London super-prime market, we provide our discerning high net worth clients with a discreet bespoke acquisition and sales service.     We are expanding our property development and investments division, both commercial and residential driven by opportunities presented by our market knowledge, networks and existing clients we work with.

    Role Description

    Director of Finance & Investments at The Cloister UK.

    Conducting financial analysis, financial modelling, business plan, due diligence, investor relations and investments in the real estate sector.

    Run development and investment appraisals using Excel template models incorporating a variety of funding sources (JVs, equity investors, debt) You will have responsibility for the finances and financial strategy including reporting to investors, lenders, Preparation of business plan / investment proposals and secure planning to achieve the business plan

    Assist in sourcing, research and due diligence for site acquisitions and provide support on the marketing and disposals of units.

    You will have a broad network of industry contacts and work with us to expand the company network. You will work closely with high net worth individuals, family offices, property funds, fiduciaries, corporate institutions, and sovereign wealth funds.

    Work collaboratively with the founders to review potential acquisitions, debt, equity and public partnership proposals and partnership/operating agreements.

    Reviews key legal agreements, including mortgages, loan documents, subordination agreement and guarantees as part of financing and construction, loan closing and contracts, and/or private debt.

    Strong understanding of managing the development process and associated risks

    Qualifications:

    At least 10 years of demonstrated relevant finance and accounting experience, with at least three years' experience as a CFO or Director of Finance, with both technical and management proficiency in operations of a real estate development organization

    Other additional relevant advanced degree and/or certification, such as a CFA or CPA CFA, CPA preferred

    Knowledge and experience with real estate accounting and finance in both commercial and residential.

    Demonstrated ability to prepare clear, accurate, well-organized written and financial reports and to communicate verbally in an effective and concise manner.

    Proficient in Microsoft Office, accounting software programs.

    We are offering a generous basic salary and a fantastic commission structure, with OTE in excess of 300k per annum.
