Job description

Hours:35 hours per week - hours can be worked flexibly

Location:
Based at our offices in Leeds (LS2) or London (NW1), or at home if you live outside London. London based staff can work at home some of the time by agreement. Will require regular travel to our London office.

Do you want to enable young people to have a key role in decision-making? Can you support the delivery of children and young people's events? Do you have great administration skills, with an eye for detail and good time management?

If so, you could be playing a vital role in the delivery of events for children and young people.

You will have experience working with people, either in a customer-focused environment or working with groups.

With excellent listening skills and judgements, you will ensure that people feel heard and valued while balancing this with organisational needs.

You will have a curious mind, with a tenacity to solve problems that arise, to effectively identify the causes and solutions.

You will be both organised and flexible, to manage a varied and busy workload in a rewarding role.

Working within the Integration Team, part of the Quaker Church Affairs Department, you will work with a small group of young people to support them in the planning and delivery of their annual event.

The planning meetings occur both in person and online. Regular weekend and evening work is required.

You will also support the administration for the delivery of key events for children and young people that form part of our decision-making process.

Closing date: 9am, Monday 15 May 2023

Interviews:
Online facilitated task with young people, 16 May 2023. In-person interview, Friends House, London, 22 May 2023
