    RoEx specialises in AI-powered mixing, mastering and audio enhancement software for the creative industries, offering products like Automix and Mix Check Studio.

    We aim to do for music production what Instagram filters did for photography:
    make it more efficient, faster, and accessible to all.

    We are a tech-savvy, early-stage startup, spun out from the Centre for Digital Music (C4DM) at Queen Mary University of London.

    Conduct research and development on new technologies and algorithms related to automatic mixing and mastering.
    Collaborate with the product development team to understand the technical requirements and constraints of the software.
    Use Python and C++ to prototype and test new technologies and algorithms.

    Use machine learning and audio signal processing techniques to develop and improve the performance of our automatic mixing and mastering services.

    Collaborate with the software development team to integrate new technologies and algorithms into the softwareWrite technical reports and documentation to share the results of your research and development work Requirements:

    Master's/PhD degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field3+ years of experience in an engineering fieldStrong knowledge of Python and C++, with experience in audio signal processing and machine learningExcellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skillsProven track record of conducting research and development in a technical fieldExperience working with a DAW and/or sound engineering experienceA love for musicWe offer a competitive salary, a company options package, and opportunities for professional development.
