    Job Requirements:
    Previous experience as an LSA at Secondary Level

    Job Purpose:

    As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with SEN within mainstream classrooms, small groups, or on a one-to-one basis.

    Your primary responsibility will be to assist students in enhancing their academic achievement, behavior, confidence, and self-esteem under the guidance of the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO).

    Responsibilities:

    In the Classroom (Under the Direction of Class Teacher):

    Support teachers in implementing inclusive learning strategies for SEN and English as an Additional Language (EAL) students.
    Work with individual students or groups to facilitate specific activities outlined by the teacher.
    Collaborate with teachers in lesson planning, discussing learning objectives, and evaluating outcomes.
    Foster the development of students' social behavior, attitudes, and skills.
    Assist in preparing differentiated learning materials for designated SEN students.
    Aid in classroom setup and organization, including arranging materials and preparing displays.
    Provide support during homework clubs and lunchtime activities.

    In the Learning Support Department (Under the Direction of SENCO):

    Prepare differentiated learning materials tailored to SEN students' needs.
    Conduct supervised literacy and numeracy sessions for individuals or small groups.
    Assist in delivering extra support during registration periods.
    Provide feedback on student progress to the SENCO.
    Attend training sessions and relevant courses to enhance skills and knowledge.
    Supervise students during educational outings and activities.
    Undertake clerical and administrative tasks as assigned

    Additional Responsibilities:
    Adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures, reporting any concerns promptly.
    Maintain compliance with GDPR regulations regarding data protection.
    Be flexible and willing to undertake additional duties as required by the Principal
