AWS and Azure DevOps Engineer - £700 per day (inside IR35) - Hybrid/London

My client a forward-thinking technology company specializing in cloud solutions, seeking a talented AWS and Azure multi-cloud DevOps Engineer to join their team on a temporary basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Role Overview: As an AWS and Azure DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure and automation pipelines. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to streamline processes, optimize performance, and ensure the reliability and scalability of our cloud-based systems. This role offers the opportunity to work with leading cloud technologies and make a significant impact on our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS and Azure platforms.
• Develop and maintain automation pipelines for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).
• Implement and optimize monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with development teams to automate deployment processes and streamline development workflows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues in production and non-production environments.
• Ensure compliance with security and best practices for cloud infrastructure and deployments.

Skills and Experience:

• Solid experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms, including infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.
• Proficiency in configuring and managing cloud services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, Azure App Service, Azure Functions, etc.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience with tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in cloud environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
