Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced Ward Secretary/administrator to support Wards, based predominantly at Hopewood Park Hospital, Ryhope, Sunderland but may also at times be asked to cover at Monkwearmouth Hospital site.
Our services provide inpatient care for adults and older adults covering Sunderland and South Tyneside who require a hospital admission for assessment and treatment.
We also have rehabilitation wards for individuals with complex Mental Health needs requiring longer term support.The main duties in this role will be:
- To support the daily multi-disciplinary team meeting
- this requires the post holder to type live at the meeting, recording the discussion and updating our patient information system
- To organise meetings, in a very tight timescale, following the daily meeting
- Liaise with service users, families and carers, within administration remit
