£25,000 - £30,000 depending on experience

Finance Assistant - Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Director of Finance with the day to day tasks within the finance department
- Logging and processing client contracts to various trackers and Accounts Software
- Housekeeping on our Finance platform, working closely with the Customer Success team updating customer statuses and adding to the relevant management internal reports
- Sales Ledger Management using our finance software to send the monthly sales invoices
- Management of customer direct debits and go cardless accounts
- Ownership of the Credit control account, working daily to reduce the debtors list
- Purchase Ledger Management
- Inputting supplier invoices to the accounting software
- Assisting the Director of Finance to reconcile the Accounting/Finance software reports to the Monthly management accounts
- Assisting the Director of Finance with preparation of forecasts and budgets
- Taking ownership of the internal drives, Scanning of all office documents that are received
- Supporting the Sales Team with admin duties and any new or existing contract queries
- Holiday approvals and maintaining holiday calendar
- Processing Cycle to Work scheme administration
- Maintaining sick/absence records
- Booking of travel & Hotels as and when requested
- Ordering supplies for the office
Finance Assistant - You:
- Experience chasing debts and ensuring payment terms are met
- Experience as a Bookkeeper, Finance Assistant, Finance Officer or a similar role
- A good knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures
- MS Excel skills (creating spreadsheets and using financial functions)
- Familiarity with accounting software XERO and G Suite
- Organisational and timemanagement skills
- Attention to detail, with an ability to spot numerical errors
- The ability to use own initiative
- Customer service skills
Beneficial, but not essential:
- AAT Level 2 or equivalent
- Experience within a SaaS company
