We have a fantastic opportunity for a Process Engineer to join our team in Irvine

The successful candidate will play a vital role in our process engineering design on multi-disciplinary engineering projects for various clients/industries.

Typical deliverables to include:

• Develop process basis of design
• Develop and check PFDs/P&IDs
• Perform and check engineering calculations as required e.g. hydraulics, pressure relief
• Carry out equipment sizing/specification, including datasheet generation and checking
• Prepare and check other relevant documentation e.g. equipment lists, line lists
• Participate in process safety activities as required, e.g. HAZOP, LOPA etc
• Liaise with vendors / equipment suppliers for technical support and quotations
• Liaise and collaborate with other engineering disciplines where required e.g. instruments and electrical, mechanical and piping, control systems
• Liaise with client personnel where required e.g. client process engineers, plant operations personnel, client management
• Provide support to more junior team members e.g. Process Engineers and Graduates
• Collaborate with other team members, including project managers, to ensure effective project delivery
• Assist with project estimation and tendering
• Experience of using Aspen Hysys preferable but not essential
