YourConstruction are recruiting for a friendly company based in Leeds for a Estimator to cover the technical drawings and design for EC Charging and Solar Panels.

Leeds (opportunity for hybrid working)

£25,000 - £35,000 (DOE) + Company Car + Holiday + Pension

Are you looking for an opportunity to play a key part in this company as they develop within the renewable energy sector.

Do you have experience as an electrical design engineer and looking to utilise your skills in a position where you can progress further within the company?

This company is the newest branch of a well-established group within the industry that focus on providing the best renewable technologies.

They have exciting plans to drive forward and grow to help strive towards achieving net zero.

This role will involve the designing and planning of Solar PV installations (there is training on offer for the specific software packages).

This will cover a range of different projects but will be mostly focused on commercial rooftop. Liaison with customers, planners and the DNO will also be involved where required.

They will be technically minded with the ability to deal with all aspects of solar PV contracting being desirable. A willingness to travel to site on occasion is also essential.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone keen to work within the ever-exciting renewables industry in a position where there are prospects for development and progression.

Planning and designing Solar PV installations Modelling panels and using industry-specific design software Assisting with business development and processes Dealing with customers, planners, DNO and local authorities where required and site visits.

Experience as an electrical design engineer (preferable with solar experience) Experience in the Solar PV market Electrical engineering or electrical qualifications are desirable

Full UK driving essential

The salary advertised is the bracket available for this position. The actual salary paid will be dependent on your level of experience, qualifications and skill set.

£25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
