STREET OUTREACH WORKER, STREET OUTREACH TEAM NOTTINGHAMSHIRE, OFFICE BASED IN SUTTON IN ASHFIELD, PERMANENT AND 6-MONTH FIXED-TERM CONTRACT AVAILABLE, 37 HPW, FRWK06 £20,127 - £22,293
County Street Outreach is a rough sleeping service.

We cover Nottinghamshire County working with service users who have multiple and complex needs such as offending, substance misuse and mental health.

Our aim is to work with individuals to support to get them in to accommodation.

An awareness of the support needs of our client group is desirable.

The main function of the role will be:

  • To assess individual service user's skills and needs and to work positively with risk
  • To support service users to engage with a process of resettlement in to appropriate longterm accommodation
  • To ensure safety and security of the client.
  • To build the skills and confidence of service users to empower them in maximising their independence
  • To work in partnership with other agencies to maximise service delivery
Staff will be on a rota system which includes the morning outreach starting at 5am.


Car driver with own vehicle is essential.
