Looking for a part-time Administration opportunity?We are currently recruiting on behalf of our Public Sector Client based in Huddersfield who are looking for a temporary part-time Administrator.

The role is to cover maternity leave and is an immediatestart.


Hours of work - 3 full days (7.24 hours per day) - flexible on which days plus flexibility on start/finish times
This is a busy role and you will be providing full administrative support to various areas of the organisation.
You will also be dealing with members of the public.


Main duties:

  • Providing full administrative support including:
  • Act as point of contact for enquiries
  • Create, collate and distribute marketing and other key information
  • Development and management of administrative systems, as required
  • Provide administrative support for relevant meetings
  • Ensuring that the interview rooms are stocked with appropriate forms, leaflets and stationery required by the Service and ensure that appropriate literature and publicity is displayed in the waiting and interview rooms.
  • Monitoring and performance data, reports and related information
  • Maintain any necessary archiving systems
  • Take minutes for meetings and carry out other administrative tasks as required.
  • To ensure any paperwork required is maintained and correctly printed.
  • To ensure that publicity material is available to external agencies and arrange stalls at outside events when needed.
  • To provide an officebased presence, contributing to minimum staffing levels onsite
  • To work with other administrators in planning tasks and maintaining systems, and providing support to the wider team when necessary, for example in times of staff absence
  • Undertake any additional administrative duties, as required

Person spec:

  • Experience in an Administration role (at least 2 years plus)
  • Experience of working with the public
  • Computer literate
  • Organised with a good eye for detail
  • Ability to take minutes of meetings (desirable)
  • Ability to work on own initiative and under pressure
  • Team player
  • Immediately available
