Extra-Care Scheme Team Leader (Leicestershire)


Contract Length:
Minimum 2 months


Salary:
Paid on a day rate

We are looking for experienced Extra-Care Scheme Team Leaders to join our client's team in Leicestershire and Northamptonshire.

As the Extra-Care Scheme Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our client's Extra-Care Scheme, ensuring that the residents receive the highest quality care and support.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage a team of care staff to provide a high standard of care and support to the residents
  • Ensure that all care plans are developed and implemented in accordance with our policies and procedures
  • Ensure that all staff receive regular training and support to enable them to deliver highquality care and support to the residents
  • Oversee the administration of medication in accordance with our policies and procedures
  • Promote and maintain the dignity, respect, and privacy of our residents at all times
  • Liaise with external agencies, families, and healthcare professionals as required
  • Ensure that all administrative and reporting duties are completed in a timely and accurate manner

Requirements:


  • Minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • Proven experience as an Extra-Care Scheme Team Leader in a similar environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of current legislation and best practice in care and support for older people and adults with complex needs
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work on a day rate basis
