Mainstay Recruitment are currently seeking a number of Rolling Mill Setters/operators for our client in West Bromwich.

Role ResponsibilitiesSet and operate our roll forming equipment, presses and ancillary equipmentProduce parts at the correct rate and report any issues with achieving that rateTake responsibility for the quality of the parts producedKeep production and quality related records up to dateEnsure good levels of 5S are maintained in the areaBe involved in continuous improvement processes driving through improvements in all aspects of the roleEnsure Health & Safety procedures are followedPerforms Other Duties as AssignedThe CandidateExperience within setting and operating rolling millsFlexibility to work a rotating 3 shift pattern (Days, Afternoons and Nights)

Able to check quality of the parts you manufactureStrong Health and Safety ethicsExperience setting and operating COLD rolling mill. Shift 1 – Monday -Thursday 6am -2pm and Friday 6am-1pm - (£15.86 per hour)Shift 2 – Monday-Thursday 2pm-10pm and Friday 1pm-8pm - (£15.86 per hour)Shift 2 – Sunday-Wednesday 10pm-6am and Thursday 10pm-5am - (£16.25 per hour)Pay rate £ £13.00 depending on experience, plus 22% shift allowance for day shifts and 25% shift allowance for night shift.
