    The role: Commercial Account Handler

    We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to join our Renewable Energy Team in Worcester . This is the perfect role for someone with a strong background in commercial insurance having worked in an Account Manager or Broker type role and looking to join an established, market leading insurance broker or possibly another field of Commercial insurance like underwriting looking for a more client focused role.

    The Commercial Account Manager will be responsible for servicing their own dedicated book of Renewable Energy clients which will involve managing renewals, invoicing, and managing the collection of client payments, producing new quotes, upselling/cross selling additional products, mid-term adjustments and generally handling any queries that come through from their dedicated client base in a quick and professional manner ensuring client satisfaction throughout.

    There is an expectation to be in the office 3 days per week on average, with flexibility to work remotely 2 days per week.

  • We will rely on you to:

  • Work with Account Executives to retain and generate new business, by leveraging strategy information and managing contract reviews and midterm changes.
  • Strive to meet sales goals by partnering with Account Executives
  • Work on all aspects of account management and service delivery to clients, ensuring client needs are identified and met in line with agreed service standards.
  • Manage all day to day queries, renewals, amendments and mid-term adjustments
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, prospects, client teams and producers to provide best in class service and drive growth.
  • Perform critical client functions, including: evaluating risks; reviewing loss experience, cash flow and financials; developing solutions; articulating impact of options; leveraging prepared analytics and making recommendations to client across product lines.
  • Serve as a client contact for day-to-day needs and answer standard or more difficult client questions to improve the client experience.
  • Maintains a detailed understanding of changing market condition and understands and complies with all compliance, professional and transparency standards to better serve clients
  • What you need to have:

  • Commercial insurance knowledge across a broad range of products is preferred.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and be able to work flexibly when required
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously
  • Fully Competent in Microsoft Office Products
  • Strong literacy, numeracy, administration, and organisational skills
  • Good written and oral communication skills
