Description
We are looking for a highly motivated Finance Manager to join a dynamic legal firm. They are a forward-thinking, tech-driven company, utilizing the latest technology.


You will be playing a key part in ensuring the company continues to succeed by working closely with the Senior Management.


You will be working independently in this role so you will need to be highly organized and capable of making your own decisions and identifying the right priorities.


Responsibilities:


  • Credit control
  • Ensuring all invoices are paid on time and updated on Xero.
Responsible for chasing any overdue invoices

  • Daily cash reconciliation for inbound and outbound payments
  • Daily sales ledger management
  • Management of Company Price List
  • Management of Company Financial Reporting System (Xero)
  • Management of the Company's Fixed Fee SLAs
  • Managing Stripe in terms of processing payments and client refunds


  • Supplier Management

  • Ensuring suppliers are set up on Hub Doc
  • Submitting Payroll to the bookkeeper
  • Submitting Pension on the NEST portal
  • Reviewing monthly Commission and submitting to the bookkeeper
  • Reviewing Company Expenses
  • Company Payment Loan Scheme
  • Completing credit checks for client payment plans
  • Profit and Loss
  • Quarterly VAT returns
  • Preparation of management accounts and detailed financial forecasting

This role would suit people who have:

  • Minimum of 5 years of finance experience
  • Experience using Xero preferred
  • Ability to adhere to and manage deadlines
  • Selfmotivated, enthusiastic, and reliable
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Organised and accurate approach to work, with effective prioritising skills
  • The confidence to work in a fastpaced and demanding role
