    Forge Auxiliary (X4) Blaenavon, South Wales 37 Hours / week 2 Shifts
    We are currently recruiting four Forge Auxiliary positions here at Blaenavon.

    The successful candidates will play an important part of a close team to produce products in line with customer demand that conform to Customer specification and to achieve departmental KPIs with respect to right first time, on time in full and productivity.


    Key Tasks and Accountabilities:
     To work within the Method of Manufacture and ensure the required quality standard is maintained at all times.
     To undertake supporting processes based on business need to support product production, including but not limited to, operating Hydraulic Presses / Hydraulic Hammers / Rolling Mills / Expanders/ Tool Changing in line with the relevant SoP.
     Completing/updating all in process documentation as required, recording key data and information in accordance with the relevant system and / or process, including but not limited to, logging production throughput data into efacs.
     To raise non-conformance reports through quality system, and report to line Manager and Quality Department.
     Encourage and actively contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by performing daily TPM AND 5's activities
     Support and promote a Health & Safety culture by adhering to all aspects of Health & Safety including carrying out checks prior to start up and ensuring that Personal Protective Equipment requirements are adhered to at all times.
     Undertake other tasks within capabilities, in any department across the business, as requested by the Manager / Supervisor.

    The successful candidate will have the following skills/experience:
     Experience of working with a hot working/forging/metal forming environment.
     Experience working within a manufacturing environment is essential.
     Flexible, and promotes good working practices.
     Excellent time management and organisational skills.
     Good interpersonal skills, particularly team working.
     Ability to achieve deadlines and targets consistently.
