We are currently seeking a dedicated Estates Surveyor to join our Estates team at Bath Spa University. who will be responsible for managing and developing Estates general practice, surveying type related services to a high-quality standard, ensuring that the University's Estates runs smoothly on a daily basis

About the Role:

As an Estates Surveyor

, you will be responsible for managing and developing Estates general practice, surveying type related services to a high quality standard and ensuring that the University's Estates runs smoothly on a daily basis. Within the role, you will provide comprehensive management of our diverse portfolio, and will be responsible for overseeing leases and licenses, negotiating nominations agreements, and setting rents for student accommodations.

Efficient space management is a key aspect of the role, involving collaboration with academic schools to fulfil space requirements.

Proficiency in estate management data systems is essential, with a focus on coordinating projects related to the newly implemented Planon CAFM system.

About You:

You will have a good Honours Degree or equivalent, coupled with a relevant professional qualification such as MRICS.

Demonstrating a successful track record in negotiating both acquisition and disposal of building stock, as well as achieving rate reductions, is crucial.

Additional Information:

The post holder will be expected to work on any University site and undertake occasional travel away from the University as directed for training and information purposes.
