Payroll Administrator - Poundbury, Dorchester

We are looking for Payroll Administrator to join our exiting Payroll team based in Poundbury, Dorchester.

As a Payroll Administrator for Quba, you will play a key role in working alongside the other members of Payroll to ensure all payrolls are completed accurately, on time, and all required outputs are produced and delivered.

Key Responsibilities:


  • This role requires excellent attention to detail, as you will be entering data from multiple sources. You will be transferring the data from spreadsheets, and our company portal, onto our bespoke payroll software.
  • You will be expected to work closely with the credit control team, making sure you are communicating regularly to make the invoicing process smooth and accurate.
  • You will be responsible for inputting payroll data for your assigned agencies, and will be expected to take ownership of these, which will include running the weekly payroll for your own agencies when possible.
  • You will run payroll reports from our bespoke software and will be responsible for making sure they are sent to the correct consultants, ensuring you are working within the agreed payroll deadlines.
  • You will be working closely with your Payroll Manager and should be able to run the payrolls for all agencies in their absence, however, a payroll supervisor will always be available to help with anything you may have not come across before, and you would be expected to ask for help should you need it.
  • Some general office administration will be required across the week, i.e. franking and posting mail, processing P45's and filing the weeks paperwork.

Key Skills and experience:


  • The ability to work as part of a team
  • Excellent analytical and numerical abilities
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Competent user of Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Desirable previous experience in a finance / payroll role

Package:

We're offering a full-time salary of £19,000 to £21,000 per annum, with access to a fantastic range of employee benefits:

  • 22 days' holiday per year (in addition to public/statutory bank holidays)
