We're looking for an experienced multi skilled engineer to join our team.

• Extensive experience as a multi skilled engineer and proficiency in two to three trades such as tiling, carpentry, plumbing, plastering, painting and decorating and/or windows and doors etc.
• Self-employed contractor status
• Min. of 40 hours availability required per week

The role Typical work includes:

• General building repairs; tiling, patch plastering, basic carpentry
• General plumbing repairs
• Kitchen and bathroom fitting
• Replacing floorboards and joists

Clear communication with customers is essential. You'll be expected to provide reassurance by explaining the work you'll do for them and sharing your knowledge.

You'll be supported by a field-based Technical Manager. They'll provide advice and assistance and can arrange additional resource on jobs that escalate in size and complexity.

We try to provide tradespeople with bookings in the same geographic area. However, you'll be prepared to travel anywhere in the Midlands.

About you

You'll have at least 5 years of experience as a general builder. Ideally, you'll hold a CSCS card. Good knowledge and experience in general maintenance is also required.

You will be confident in using your knowledge and experience to recommend best practice repair and reinstatement work. You'll have excellent communication skills and experience in providing detailed scope of works and fixed price quotes. You're prepared to go the extra mile to help a customer. You take pride in always delivering high-quality work and excellent customer service.

You'll have your own hand tools; we'll supply specialist equipment. You'll also have a valid UK driving licence and you'll be available to work for at least 40-hours per week
