Hours:
Monday Friday 37.5 hrs early finish on a Friday (Flexi-time)
Hybrid Working

We are working with a market-leading manufacturing organisation who are looking to bring in a Quality Lead to develop, implement and maintain quality standards and processes within the operations.

This is a new role for the business and therefore would give you the opportunity to really make your own mark on the development of the Quality team and really drive a new quality culture across the business.

You will me managing a small quality team initially but there is no doubt that this will grow as the business does.

The Quality Lead will be responsible for:

Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures
Leading, coaching and mentoring the quality team
Manage supplier quality and goods inwards inspection processes
Perform root cause analysis and implement preventative measures
Work closely with the customer team to ensure any customer quality issues are resolved and preventative measures are implemented
Previous experience as a Quality Manager / Senior Quality Engineer / Quality Lead type role
Strong knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001 quality management systems
Lead Auditor training for ISO 9001 would be ideal but not essential
Knowledge of problem-solving tools and techniques along with quality control methodologies
