- **About the Role -**This is an exciting opportunity to join and support Haleon in its journey to becoming a more data-driven organization. This means providing our teams with easy access to relevant and timely data to inform faster and more insight-driven decisions. In addition, this will enable faster feedback on the impact of change as the organization undergoes agile transformation and transition to a 'test and learn' approach. Data is a key tenet underpinning our transformation journey.

As part of the Customer Technology team, the Data Lead will work in partnership with Technology, Data and the business to bring to life data-driven user stories.

They will then work act as the conduit between the agile delivery teams and the business to ensure precious resources are correctly utilized.

This includes attending the agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, backlog refinement and retrospectives.

Data Leads will build strong relationships with the business stakeholders through regular interactions and updates on progress, including leading 'show and tell' sessions and managing the User Acceptance Test (UAT) process.

This is global role that needs to be effective for Haleon to be able to use high-quality, trusted data in operational processes and for analytical purposes.

The role will impact on anyone that uses data and/or AI so it is anticipated that all functions and BUs will in some way be impacted by this role's outputs.

This role is ideal for a person with a passion for bringing structure and collaborating with a range of business and technical stakeholders to rapidly deliver real value to the business, our customers, and consumers.

Applicants should be experienced in working in an agile methodology with teams and stakeholders across a global environment.

In addition, a strong business analysis skill set is required to be able to identify and assess value to priorities delivery in line with the business needs.

The Customer Technology Data Lead will have the opportunity to work across and bring a product mindset to a variety of products across the Customer Pillar at Haleon.

Key Responsibilities-

The responsibilities of a Data Lead is to work in partnership with the business leadership teams to develop a demand backlog that fulfils the strategic objectives, to assess, shape and deliver enterprise data products that represent the Customer pillars and capabilities within the Data Office.

Develop and communicate a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap for data products that align with the company's overall goals and market trends.
Develop close working partnerships with the senior stakeholders from within the dedicated area of business, fostering a product led mindset within the leadership teams
Ensure all aspects of the Data Delivery lifecycle are considered when formulating a delivery plan, executing against Data Strategy principles. This includes everything from BI, Data Sciences, Data Governance, Master Data Management, Data Platforms and Data Architecture.
Relentless focus on Value generation through strategic and tactical use cases for the business working closely with the finance teams to correctly attribute value that the initiatives will deliver

Metrics and Analytics:

Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of data products, making data-driven decisions to optimize product performance.

Stakeholder Communication: Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, providing regular updates on product progress, changes, and upcoming features.
Drive and foster a strong delivery mindset and culture within the agile product teams, supporting the rapid delivery of business value through a test and learn approach. This includes attending a selection of key agile ceremonies, particularly business 'show and tells'

Significant experience successfully delivering complex projects to a high standard and within short timeframes. Desirable recent examples of delivery of data or technology products/projects
Experience in translating complex, ambiguous concepts into actionable plans
Demonstrated ability to successfully manage work within a rapidly changing environment. This includes examples of ability to change scope, approach, resources, or timelines in response to an external change
Desirable experience working with remote teams, based offshore Experience in prioritizing a product backlog based on a variety of inputs, including business need, architectural complexity, skills availability etc.
Desirable experience working with Jira to manage product backlogs Desirable experience working with key product artefacts to support us
