Control and Automation Engineer - £50k

Milton Keynes

We are looking for an engineer with experience in setting-up and programming PLCs to provide product support to our European subsidiaries.

Experience with some of the major industrial communication protocols is required, including PROFINET, EtherCAT, Ethernet/IPand IO-Link.

Essential Requirements:

*Experience with at least one of the following industrial communication protocols: PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT and IO-Link
*Experience of programming PLCs in one of the following languages: Ladder, Structured Text or Function Blocks
*Experience with at least one of the following PLC engineering tools: Tia Portal, TwinCAT and Studio 5000
*Experience of writing technical reports and product documentation

Desirable:

*Electrical, Electronics, Software or Electromechanical Engineering degree, HNC or HND
*Experience of working for a multinational company
*Experience of working with customers and suppliers
*Industry 4.0 and IIoT including OPC UA communication protocol
