Admin Assistant

Location:
Trafford Park, Manchester


Salary:
From £23,500 - £30,000 based on experience


+ share options + Flexitime + hybrid working + 25 days holidays.
Holiferm is facilitating the transition of the $42 billion surfactant market away from harmful, fossil fuel-based chemicals to biobased alternatives


We produce sophorolipid biosurfactants:
renewable, biodegradable, and mild alternatives to the petrochemical-derived surfactants used in household cleaning, laundry, and personal care products.


Key Responsibilities

Recruitment:

  • Capturing applicants to the roles available
  • Messaging people on LinkedIn
  • Managing recruitment inbox and CV Library or any other job board
  • Screening applicant CVs
  • Arranging assessments and interviews
  • Preparing recruitment reports
  • Assisting with recruitment with general requests

Admin support:

  • Inventory all office equipment.
  • Ensure all equipment is up to date and in stock.
  • Manage office furniture requests and ensure delivery to the correct places.
  • Ensure office materials are up to date and ordered when needed.
  • Ensure uniforms are in stock and ordered when needed.
  • Keep a record of office equipment and materials.
  • Liaise with the purchaser on current stock levels.
  • Assist senior management with tasks as needed.
  • Liaise with contractors to ensure service contracts are followed and any issues resolved.
  • Work with the People department to assist with tasks as needed.
  • Dealing with correspondence and post
  • Welcoming visitors and connecting them to the correct person
  • Setting up rooms for guests and meetings
  • Ensure that the site is wellmaintained and working properly.
  • Acting as the point of contact and directing inquiries in the correct direction (business phone)
  • Organising induction day

A bonus:


  • Have worked in a fastpaced startup environment.
  • Previous experience as a business assistant and/or HR assistant
  • Driving licence preferable
  • A level+ scientific/engineering background
