    Description

    Sweco UK is currently looking for a Senior Engineer – OT Telemetry Migration (Technical Lead) to join our AM Irish Water team.

    This role can be worked flexibly with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office and the option of adjusted start and finish times.

    The National Telemetry Programme will help deliver on this by establishing a single national telemetry capability and enabling standardised ways of working, critical monitoring of assets and improvement of asset performance data nationwide.

    As a Technical Lead, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality assurance of delivery into Uisce Éireann (UÉ) of the migrated outstations from Master Control over to SCOPE.

    Supporting UÉ with their Operational activities for NTS (Water industry telemetry best practice).
    Assisting with the analysis, preparation and reporting of the telemetry outstations for migration.
    Reviewing old and new mimics for continuity and performance.
    Daily progress on migration tasks with the Operational Project Manager or Uisce Éireann Business Lead.
    Reporting on migration risks and challenges to enduring outstation operations, which may not be initially apparent.
    Experience of water industry telemetry system operation, support and/or implementation
    Knowledge of instrumentation and process control, including PLC's, SCADA, HMIs desirable
    Knowledge and use of technical standards and procedures and their impact on data quality
    Ability to analyse data and summarise in management reports
    Training others/disseminating knowledge
    Strong interpersonal/team working skills, with a good working relationship with all levels of the organisation, clients and contractors
    The ability to communicate in a fluent and positive manner with other team members and to produce reports in clear English
    Developing and building client relationships that lead to future opportunities
    Familiarity with relevant software packages such as MS Office

    Qualifications:
    The successful candidate should have recognised academic qualifications, Degree and/or HND or equivalent desirable.
