    We have a fantastic opportunity for a Bar Assistant to work in our dynamic team at The Belfry, England's leading Hotel and Resort. We have 320 bedrooms, 2 rosette standard dining, five food and beverage outlets, fantastic leisure facilities including our 20 treatment rooms & pool and of course, what we are famous We have a really exciting year ahead at The Belfry, with hosting The British Masters in August 2024 and continuing with the launch of new training and development opportunities and incentives.

    The Ryder Grill


    The Ryder Grill & Kitchen is a 220 seat restaurant that offers a number of menu options, ranging from our stunning 2 rosette À la Carte menu to chefs table and a Sunday Carvery. The Ryder Grill & Kitchen also benefits from a theatre kitchen where we prepare and cook our steaks all in view of the guest. Our menus are seasonal so you will learn how we build a menu, cost it and deliver it out to our guests. The restaurant goes into full service and you will work with the rest of the team to deliver up to 300 covers on busy evenings, not including starters and desserts.

    Salary

    The on target earning potential for this role is £ £12.24 hourly rate, compromising of a base hourly rate of £ £11.44 plus a qualified estimate of £0.80 gratuities per hour

    About the role

    As bar assistant your duties will as bartender.

    · To welcome all guests a polite and friendly manner

    · To prepare drinks to a high standard

    · To deliver a great experience from beginning to end

    · To confidently talk about our menus, offer upsells and enthusiastically

    · To take orders from our guests and proactively ensure that all of their needs are met

    · Cleaning and good hygiene practices are a large part of this role

    · To work across any of the outlets that are in need of assistance to ensure the smooth running of the resort as a whole.


    About you

    The Ideal candidate with have experience working behind a busy bar or in a busy restaurant. Although you don't need experience to begin your career at the Belfry as we have a great team that will train you and give you all of the skills you need to be successful.
