    Buyer (Maternity cover FTC to October 2025)

    Crawley, Office based

    Salary £30,000


    A busy and varied opportunity has arisen for a proactive and capable candidate to join a well established distribution company in Crawley on a fixed term contract basis.

    Reporting in to the Purchasing Manager, this role will see you being responsible for the following:

    Meeting internal sales requirements for stock by raising orders with suppliers
    Gaining quotes for the best price and lead times
    Expediting open orders to ensure customers receive the best service and their products in a timely manner
    Booking in deliveries of stock and managing the inventory

    Building and maintaining positive relationships with suppliers, monitoring performance and addressing any issuesThis role would suit someone with strong organisation and communication skills, as you will be liaising with many internal and external stakeholders.

    A commitment to delivering a first class service to customers is important, as is the ability to work accurately and methodically.
