A vacancy has arisen following a new post which has been created within the EPRR and Special Operations Department as an Equipment Database Coordinator.


Working within a specialist department, the post holder will manage the logistics and stores facilities to ensure accountability, timely servicing and effective maintenance of all non-fleet assets associated with the Interoperable Capabilities of HART, MTA, CBRN, Mass Casualty and MERIT to a high standard.

Accurate records will be maintained by the postholder using an online system to ensure records of essential equipment are maintained.


The successful applicant will have excellent organisational skills as well as a high degree of flexibility travelling to numerous sites both within and outside the Trust.

They will have line management responsibilities for their team with proven leadership skills.


Applicants should be prepared to participate in an on-call rota as part of the Resilience Support Team providing support to incidents and exercises to supply vehicles and equipment where required.

Working with the HART and Special Operations Area Manager, the post holder will manage the logistics and stores facilities to ensure accountability, timely servicing and effective maintenance of

all non-fleet assets associated with the Interoperable Capabilities of HART, MTA, CBRN and Mass Casualty Interoperable Capabilities, and MERIT to a standard to ensure statutory, regulatory and contractual compliance.


The core responsibilities of the role are:

Order, receive, issue and account for all stores belonging to HART, MTA, CBRN and Mass Casualty Interoperable Capabilities, and MERIT, using PROCLUS as the single platform.

Account for and report any losses or damage of assets and stores, undertaking initial investigations as appropriate.


Coordinate the servicing and maintenance of operational equipment in accordance with statutory, regulatory and contractual standards, updating all certificates onto PROCLUS.

Maintain equipment records on PROCLUS


Line manage members of the logistics team providing leadership and coordination of team members to ensure servicing and maintenance schedules are followed.
