Obstetrics & Gynaecology SpR with CESR Support

We've been assigned by one of the best performing NHS Trusts in the UK help them recruit a Specialty Doctor Obs & Gynae on either a Substantive or a 12 month NHS Fixed Term basis.

Our client were awarded by the Health Service Journal to be one of the top 100 places to work.

The Trust has a perfect location which offers both London and Midlands within easy reach, access to major motorways and an international airport within immediate proximity.

The O&G department has a well-supported & lovely team at this trust which consists of eight consultants (one who works less than fulltime), four specialty doctors, three ST3+ and, 4 GPSTS doctors, 1 ST1/2 and 2 FY2 doctors.

One of the main duties of this post will be to deliver appropriate clinical care to elective patients with consultant support by working in clinics, theatres etc.

The post holder will have the opportunity to attend outpatient clinics, theatre sessions and specialist clinics. On call shifts will be on a 1 in 7 shift basis.
The doctor will also take an active part in the departments quality improvement and audit programs and will be expected to help support, manage & supervise junior medical staff & medical students
