Dead Simple Computing, a growing independent IT services company based in Reading, UK, is seeking an experienced and motivated IT Support Engineer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide advanced technical support to clients and assist the service desk team in resolving complex issuesDevelop and implement strategies to optimize IT support processes and documentationManage and deliver client projects, ensuring timely completion and high customer satisfactionPerform system administration and maintenance tasks for various client environmentsContinuously update knowledge of emerging technologies and industry best practicesContribute to the development and maintenance of the internal knowledge baseCollaborate with the management team to drive process improvements and implement new technologiesRequirements:5+ years of experience in an IT support role, preferably within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or similar environmentStrong technical knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows 11, Hyper-V, Active Directory, and Azure ADFamiliarity with MSP tools such as Kaseya VSA (or other RMM), IT Glue, and Halo PSAExperience with scripting and programming languages is a plusSolid understanding of ITIL and IT support best practicesExcellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skillsRelevant Microsoft certifications are highly desirable
