We make promises to our customers, and we'll make promises to you too. The key responsibilities in this role include;

Management of Outbound Sea freight bookings including Acquiring booking references and communicating with all relevant parties, particularly regarding any delays
Coordinating carrier pickup times, and providing shipment plans to ensure adherence to customer delivery requirements to destination
Communicating frequently with internal (DHL Glasgow, USA and Canada) and external stakeholders (carriers, haulers and customers) to ensure consistency in direction and expectations
Arranging and processing customs documents to ensure efficient operations
Responsibility for returnable stock management and governance processes
Maintain Good relationships with Internal and external stakeholders

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Organisational (task prioritisation) and administration skills
Numerical & IT Skills (ability to use Microsoft is essential)
Min 12 months experience in Logistics (Sea/Road/Air) processes (desirable)
Customer focus and detailoriented approach to work
