    Description
    Comeand join our friendly, forward-thinking and highly supportive training Practicein West Sussex. We offer a lovelyworking environment in a purpose built building not far from the sea.

    We areoffering 4 to 6 sessions a week preferably Wed, Thurs and Friday with inclusionon the duty rota with a competitive salary and progression in the future.

    Basic salary is £10,500 per session with tiered increases based on additional duties (duty rota and trainer status).
    Main duties include regular GP clinics, with inclusion in the duty doctor rota.
    Additional work includes opportunity for audit work to identify ways to improve patient care.

    We are a training practice with 5 GP Partners and 4 salaried GP's providing the highest possible standard of care to over 13,200 patients.

    To work as an autonomouspractitioner, responsible for the provision of medical services to the practicepopulation, delivering an excellent standard of clinical care whilst complyingwith the GMS contract.

    Furthermore,the post holder will adhere to the GMC standards for good medical practice,contributing to the effective management of the practice, leading by example,maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with themultidisciplinary team.

    Vocational Training Certificate or equivalent JCPTGP
    General Practitioner (Certificate of Completion of Training CCT)
    Experience of working in a primary care environment
    Experience of continued professional development
    General understanding of the GMS contract
    Experience of medicines management
    General understanding of the PCN contract
    Clear, polite telephone manner
    Competent in the use of Office and Outlook
    Effective time management (planning and organising)
    Ability to follow clinical policy and procedure
    Experience with clinical risk management
    Personal Qualities
    Flexible and cooperative
    Problem solver with the ability to process information accurately and effectively, interpreting data as required
    Commitment to ongoing professional development
    Flexibility to work outside of core office hours
    Occupational Health clearance
    Project lead as required with CQC, ICB and QOF
