Role:
Credit & Sales Manager (Temporary Contract)

Location:
Stockport


Salary:
Up to £32k

Hours: 40 per week (office based)

Please note this role requires someone who can start immediately or at short notice.

Responsibilities:


  • Lead a small sales ledger team
  • Ensure wholesale customer credit accounts are paid in full and on time
  • Oversee retail (online and showroom) sales leger reconciliations
  • Oversee cash, card, PayPal azssnd bank account reconciliations
  • Assess and determine customer credit limits
  • Ensure sales cut off has been correctly applied
  • Ensure sales invoices, credit notes and refunds are processed correctly
  • Work closely with the wider finance team to produce accurate management accounts
  • Provide a high level of customer service
  • Liaise with third party debt recovery agencies
  • Investigate ad hoc customer queries and rectify to ensure sales ledger transactions are correct

Requirements:


  • Experience in working in and / or running a sales ledger / finance department
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment
  • Must have strong IT and systems skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a structured manner and to prioritise workload
