Role:
Credit & Sales Manager (Temporary Contract)
Location:
Stockport
Salary:
Up to £32k
Hours: 40 per week (office based)
Please note this role requires someone who can start immediately or at short notice.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a small sales ledger team
- Ensure wholesale customer credit accounts are paid in full and on time
- Oversee retail (online and showroom) sales leger reconciliations
- Oversee cash, card, PayPal azssnd bank account reconciliations
- Assess and determine customer credit limits
- Ensure sales cut off has been correctly applied
- Ensure sales invoices, credit notes and refunds are processed correctly
- Work closely with the wider finance team to produce accurate management accounts
- Provide a high level of customer service
- Liaise with third party debt recovery agencies
- Investigate ad hoc customer queries and rectify to ensure sales ledger transactions are correct
Requirements:
- Experience in working in and / or running a sales ledger / finance department
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment
- Must have strong IT and systems skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to work in a structured manner and to prioritise workload
