Mechanical Test Engineer - Respiratory/PPE

Circa £30,000 plus bonus plus excellent benefits

Are you an engineer or graduate with a mechanical background? BSI has a fantastic opportunity for a Test Engineer to join us at our Hemel Hempstead labs, working within our Respiratory/PPE testing team.

In this role you will be responsible for testing a variety of respiratory products to ensure that they conform to required safety and quality standards.

You'll need to be able to operate the test machinery (including the ability to resolve day to day maintenance issues) record detailed testing results and also liaise with clients to advise the outcome of their product testing.

Ideally, you will have previous experience as a test engineer - or have worked in a mechanical discipline and/or have a Mechanical Engineering qualification

You'll also have strong interpersonal skills to confidently liaise with clients, and advise on the status of work to facilitate premier customer service and on-time delivery on all work and projects.

You'll be resourceful and solution orientated, proactive and flexible, and have great attention to detail.
