    Market Supervision ("MSU") forms part of the Market Regulation department which is responsible for regulating all the markets operated by LSE plc (the Recognised Investment Exchange).

    Market Supervision is responsible for monitoring secondary market trading on London Stock Exchange ("LSE"), Turquoise Global Holdings Limited ("TGHL") and Turquoise Global Holdings Europe B.The purpose of Market Supervision is to ensure that trading is orderly and efficient, and in compliance with the Exchange's rules ("the rules") and to identify activity which may indicate market abuse as outlined in the UK Financial Conduct Authority's Code of Market Conduct and MAR.

    The role reports into the Director of Live supervision, Rules and Post Trade and will be responsible for overseeing the Business Management function which supports all the sub departments within MSU.

    Build out and establish newly formed business management function, People Leader to two direct reports;
    Ensure appropriate governance and policy documentation across key areas to mitigate risk and develop new practices to ensure operational efficiency;
    Manage Risk process on behalf of MSU including annual self-assessments, recording of controls and managing resolution timeframes for any 'Self-identified issues';
    Consider upcoming regulatory change - UK and EU. Engage Technical Product Managers and project managers where appropriate;
    Preparation of reports and management information, as required;

    willingly to dedicate requisite effort to ensure activities completed on time and to the quality required; Proficient in use of MS Office, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

    Knowledge of multiple asset classes;
    Experience of working within the financial services industry - trading venue experience would be preferable but is not essential;
    Previous experience gained in a Compliance or Market Supervision environment.
