Description

We are recruiting on behalf of an international organisation based in Thirsk with an excellent reputation in their industry and top talent in their team.

They are looking for a
Production Planner to join their business on a full time, permanent basis. You will be responsible for the organisation of the factory production according to demand and quality standards. You will ensure that products are produced on timefor distribution in an efficient and profitable manner. You will require good knowledge around production procedures and ways to optimise them.

As the successful Production Planner your duties will include:

Coordinate the production workflow for multiple products
Plan and prioritise operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
Determine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand
Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget
Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption
Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives etc.)
Prepare and submit status and performance reports
Liaise with all relevant departments to confirm customer requirements

Requirements:

Proven experience as Production Planner would be desirable
Previous knowledge of production planning and quality control principles
Experience using Microsoft Dynamics would be desirable
Working knowledge of MS Office
Strong organisational and problemsolving skills
