You will support our Water Resource Planning Team in working with others across Hampshire, Isle of Wight and Sussex to create resilient water resources for people and wildlife.

You will be responsible for the health, safety and wellbeing of the team and for ensuring that resources (money and work programmes) are effectively managed.

You will also have an active role in contributing to the Area and departmental leadership teams.
Responding to incidents is a central part of what we do.

You will be required to have an incident role and make yourself available to respond to incidents or provide business continuity support during an incident.

This may attract an additional payment and full training and alternative working arrangements will be available to support you with your incident role.


  • The team
  • The Water Resources Environment Planning Team are a dedicated group of highly skilled specialists working to create resilient water resources across the whole of Hampshire, Isle of Wight and Sussex.

They work closely with colleagues and abstractors across the area and have a key role in coordinating and reporting on our Area response to drought.
