Cambridge University Library's Reader Services Division is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, experienced, and customer-focused library colleague to an interesting and varied role with supervisory and teaching responsibilities.


The Research and Information Services Team Leader plays a key part in the support services offered by the University Library to the academic community, to both Cambridge University staff and students as well as national and international researchers, with the priority to meet their teaching, learning and research needs.


With a dedication to delivering a high standard of customer service, you will guide and advise a wide range of Cambridge academics, students and visitors, in person and remotely.

Managing seven staff within the department and a pool of approximately 20 cover staff, the role holder is responsible for contributing and delivering the day-to-day operations in the main Reading Room.

The working pattern is Monday to Friday, with one day (to be negotiated) working a later shift finishing at 19:05.
