    The role

    We are currently recruiting for a Document Controller to join our Manchester Town Hall project.

    What will you do?

  • Experience of Document Control or familiarity of project/information document control systems is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
  • The Document Controller will allocate tasks and priorities which will vary each day, but will generally fall under the following categories:
  • Allocating information to appropriate team member
  • Updating information schedules
  • Generating reports using the project document management system
  • Compliance checks on information for correct referencing
  • Support team members with processing protocol
  • The role will require engagement with team members to ensure information is processed within the allocated timescales, as such the successful candidate will need to be able to quickly integrate into a large team utilising excellent communication skills and a 'can do' attitude to drive the successful achievement of deadlines.

  • Ability to work and thrive within a large team
  • Must have an attention to detail, high level of accuracy
  • Word and Excel competency is a must, Aconex is desirable
  • Willing to develop networking and interpersonal skills
