A rare opportunity for an Analytics Engineer to join a FTSE250 company, working with all levels in the business to develop end-to-end reporting capabilities.

THE ROLE
An impactful role, you will be expected to manage end-to-end reporting capabilities for different functions in the business, including:

  • Design, development, and implementation of advanced analytics solutions
  • Work closely with crossfunctional teams to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Develop and maintain stored procedures and other database objects to support data processing and analysis.
  • Analyse and optimise database performance, ensuring that analytics solutions are scalable and efficient.
  • Mentor junior team members and share your expertise to help drive best practices in data and analytics

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Experience working with data warehousing, ETL, and data modelling
  • Knowledge of data visualisation tools and techniques, such as Power BI and Tableau.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Strong expertise in developing stored procedures and other database objects, particularly in SQL Server
  • Exposure to legacy (Oracle) and newer technologies (AWS)
