Role overview:

On behalf of my client I am supporting the appointment of a Finance Officer who will take ownership of the continual improvement of the companies financial functions.

As a Finance Officer you will be working with large volume transactions and provide a high-qualityservice to internal and external customers, while ensuring that all information is accurate and up to date.

You will also perform daily, weekly and monthly processes to a high standard ensuring that deadlines are met.

More about the role:

Responsible for posting all rental income receipts in a timely manner.
Responsible for Direct Debits (DD) collections and maintenance of DD records.

Being responsible for the daily, weekly and monthly control processes, such as tenancy movements and housing systeM/Finance accounting system interface and related intercompany postings.

Resolving customer queries promptly.
Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers.
Continually review and recommend process improvements and comply with recommendations from Internal and External Audit Reviews.
To be involved in project work, as well as testing and implementing new systems as and when required.

More about you:

Educated to GCSE level or equivalent in Mathematics and English (Grades A*- C)
Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook and ability to learn new software.
Experience of processing high volume transactions.
High level of attention to details.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
