Role:
Senior HR Adviser


Location:
Hybrid working with 2 days in the Newcastle Office (NE4)


Working Hours:
Office hours, Mon-Fri (Permanent/Full time)


Salary:
£27,000 - £32,000 (Depending on experience)


Key duties include:


  • Providing commercial confidential advice and guidance to managers and colleagues on HR
  • Review & update HR Policies to ensure they are in line with current legislation
  • Monitoring key HR Metrics such as people turnover, absence (long + short term) and retention.
  • Work with managers on the following: Disciplinary's, Performance management, and Capability.
  • Carrying out exit interviews for the business
  • Coaching allocated managers as part of daily responsibility
  • Give advice on recruitment best practice; This may include support with interviewing, writing job adverts, writing role profiles, liaising with recruitment agencies, and helping to communicate vacancies.

Skills & experience required:


  • CIPD Level
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to deal with sensitive situations in a diplomatic manner
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent (or work experience demonstrating this level of ability)
  • Experience in working with a HR function providing advice and support on HR policies and procedures.
  • Up to date knowledge of employment legislation & HR best practice

Desirable:


  • Experience of working in financial services
  • CIPD Level
