Salary:
up to £43,000 p.a dependant on experience

Bonus:
Profit share scheme 20% (dependant on company performance)


Contract:
Full time and permanent


Hours:
Monday - Friday 40 hours (Hybrid working available)


Our client is a leading national provider of plant, site accommodation, welfare facilities and solar solutions to hire with locations across the United Kingdom.

Due to continuous growth and transformation, they have a new opportunity for an experienced OperationalManager to join their Customer Excellence function at their Head Office in Newcastle.


They're going into 2023 with ambitious plans to develop and grow at pace and recognise that to achieve goals and really scale up, customer experience strategy is integral.

Their priority is to create an exceptional end to end customer journey, through allmajor 'touchpoints.


About the role:
Operations Manager


This is a newly created role with a key focus on providing effective management of the Central Hire Desk, maximising all activity, and ensuring excellent service is provided.

Maintaining high quality relationships with customers, team members and depotsis key, as well as meeting and exceeding company, team and personal targets.


You will be responsible for:


  • Working with the senior management team to develop strategies for business generation
  • Managing a team of Supervisors, Coordinators, and performance within the regional team
  • Delivery, collections, and breakdowns within the region, in line with the company KPI's
  • Offering guidance, supervision, and direction to your team members to ensure service delivery
  • Day to day performance management of subcontractors
  • Taking full ownership of all internal and external complaints and escalations for the region
  • Ensuring that team members always offer an efficient, knowledgeable, and courteous service to customers
  • Providing regular updates on sales performance, including rehire and carriage revenue
  • Management of the KPI to drive performance across all departments, creating performance reports
  • Achieving excellence in planning procedures
  • Organising and chair team meetings with Operational and Sales stakeholders to ensure Regional Team Performance targets are reviewed and met.

About you:


My client is looking for an experienced Operational Manager with strong stakeholder and man management skills along with proven success of driving performance against established KPI's.

Experience of having lead a team through transformation would be desirableand experience of embeding new processes and positively driving cultural change.
